Merry Christmas Eve!
Don: Well, it is Christmas Eve for us at least. It is Friday, December 11, 2009. We will be celebrating Christmas tomorrow (Saturday) because Karen and I will be in Gainesville when December 25th rolls around. Karen has done a great job getting the home ready. We have Jacob, Dylan and Heather with us tonight. Grandpa Ken, Grandma Madeline, Laura, Darren and Cody will be here first thing in the morning. Presents are wrapped and ready. Breakfast menu has been planned and food bought. It is going to be great!
God has been very good to us. Our loving family extends well beyond blood and marriage. We are truly blessed by each and every visitor to the site. Karen especially enjoys the comments and prayers of support and they really do help. Thank you all very much for being part of our support family. Sorry we haven’t done any writing since we came home. We hope you understand that we have been busy preparing for this celebration and just spending time with the kids (when I am not at work). It is hard to believe that Karen got home Tuesday afternoon. She has to check in on next Tuesday for the second consolidation treatment. But that is then and tonight is CHRISTMAS EVE!

Christmas for us is over and what a good time we had! It was good to have the family together. We did miss Karen’s older sister (Ginny) and her family. Also Karen’s son, Randy, was still away at college and was missed. We love you Randy! I am amazed we were able to pull it off with such a short time to shop. It was a wonderful Christmas. I thank my Heavenly Father for the blessings he bestows on us. Our needs are being met. The friendship and prayers of each one of you special friends are such a blessing. You probably will never know how uplifting it is to have your comments. God Bless and have a Merry Christmas.
Karen,Don You all are a Blessing to all of us.I know that you are ministering to other as you go through this ordeal.I know the folks around us can see that God Our Heavenly Father is working a miracle in you to His Glory.I know that Madeline and Ken are able to share the Good News too.It’s thanks due in part to them that my son is now Born Again,and that is a most wonerful Christmas present to Him,his family and me. Hi again,I got the message that your Mom called (Tuesday 12-15),sorry I was at the docs. He is going to change my meds to time release for my MG.If it doesn’ help I will have to do IGG, IV therapy (no Biggy). I think you are back in clinic today. I wish I could see you guys over the Holidays,maybe something will come up,maybe Steve could take me.I am not strong enough right now to make the trip on my own. Auntie M
