Yippee!
Don: Two great things happened at the same time. Within an hour of my last message Karen convinced Shands not to make her stay in Gainesville and my new boss, Rosanne, insisted I take today and tomorrow off so I could “clean the house and make Karen a nice dinner!” Thanks Rosanne. That means a lot to both Karen and me.
Randy will be coming over for some personal time with his Mom before he heads back to Harding College tomorrow. Everything happens in God’s time. This time the timing works out well for us too. Dylan and Jake will be here tomorrow after school for even more family time. I think Karen’s next round of treatment starts on Jan 18. Again for those who try to keep up, she has had one induction treatment and two consolidation rounds. The treatment on Jan 18 will start consolidation #3.
Wonderful news! What a wonderful answer to prayer for Karen! I’m glad she gets to spend some time at home and that she’ll get some time with Randy before he heads back to Harding. I imagine Dylan and Jake are pretty excited, too! ;-D
We’re home, we’re home, we’re, home!!! Winterized the camper and drove home from the hospital. Feels good to be home. Karen can rest and relax with her family and we can visit with our Panama City family and friends. Feels soooo Good! Folks we have seen some AMAZING answers to prayers. You may not always hear the results of your prayers, but be assured that God is answering them. There is not enough room to contain all the stories of what we have seen. Keep up the prayers all you Prayer warriors. Pray for all the patients as they face this battle. Thank you and God Bless.

WOW I really dont know what to say. never been good at words. heck never been good at much.. But I did want karen to know how much I care. She is one of very fav people in the horse show indust.. her being this miserable just well just sucks rocks !!
